ALTHEA BARRAlthea Barr won first place in our 2007 Christian Short Story competition with her entry "To Save A Life", and we're delighted now to be preparing to publish her first novel in Spring 2010 - working title "Your Move". Althea has been a compulsive writer for most of her life, in both poetry and prose, and has published several poetry books - often alongside her daughter Lucy's beautiful photography. Born in Sussex, UK, Althea and husband Arne now live in New Zealand.

Rowland EvansRowland Evans:  Deeply dyslexic, Rowland met this challenge full on and has been a successful writer for many years, as well as being awarded a number of degrees including a Ph.D and an honorary D.Min. Rowland has spent most of his life between Wales and the Far East, including China, Tibet, Korea and Malaysia, and has birthed two well-known international missionary organisations specialising in training young people of all nations. The beautifully lyrical "My Sea Is Wide" is now available for ordering. His writing is deeply insightful and thought-provoking, and has been described as "poetic philosophy".

JS Holloway JS Holloway has been writing professionally for over 20 years in a wide variety of media: television, radio, film and multimedia as well as print. "Dance of Eagles" is her first offering in book format, and her childhood and background in Africa ensure that she is well qualified to write this stirring mixture of historic events and hard-hitting adventure fiction.

Julie McGowanJulie McGowan is one of the finest fiction writers to emerge from Wales in the last century. Her first novel, "The Mountains Between", was released in November 2007 and was quickly followed by her second, "Just One More Summer" (applauded by Katie Fforde), launched in Cornwall on 23rd June 2008. Julie lives in Usk, Wales, with her husband Peter, and they have four adult children.

Christine Moore's first book is "Going Astray" - an experiential thriller based in a church which becomes a cult. Her second book is also written and will be released in 2010 - also a thriller, but this time with a futuristic scientific twist. Christine lives in Norfolk, England, with her husband, and recently retired from her job teaching children with learning disabilities.
