AND THE WINNERS ARE ...
Amazing! What a fantastic selection of stories we received; well done, everyone! And even more happily, our entrants and winners were once more from all around the world. Congratulations on the high standard of writing, to everyone who entered, and our special thanks to all who supported the newer writers by joining in with the Writers' Challenge. ALL entrants to the Writers' Challenge have been listed on a separate honours list, and our pick of the best of the entries across all the competitions will be published in a printed Anthology in early 2009.
PRIZES HAVE NOW ALL BEEN DISTRIBUTED (31st August). If you haven't received yours within a reasonable time, please contact me.)
If you were one of the entrants who requested a professional critique, please be patient; they will be done in the second half of August (adjusted 31 August: I apologise; I'm getting through them but am still behind!). If you didn't request a critique and would still like to have one, the cost is £12.50 - please contact us.
Click on the linked story titles below to read the stories and author bios (below the stories). I have contacted all winners and those commended, and am still awaiting responses from some. (If you see your name below and haven't had an email from me, please contact us - we have been trying to reach you!)
Thank you especially to the YOUNG WRITERS for your patience as we took so long to get your results out. We will be putting the winning stories up in another day or so, once we receive author bio details from the winners and those highly commended.
