We are a "traditional" publisher first and foremost! All of the books we have published so far have been "traditionally" published, i.e. the author doesn't pay towards book production. However, our budget is limited and we can't accept everything that comes to us. We understand how hard it is for writers to get published - and our mission is to help new authors. Therefore, we are offering other services to those whose books we have not taken on to finance ourselves. Sunberry Books is our solution for you!

We have opened a new imprint, Sunberry Books (was Idioscribe), for writer services and author-funded (self-publishing) projects. This is totally separate from our "traditional" publishing arm, Sunpenny. Our traditional publishing side continues unabated.

IMPORTANT NOTE: It's up to YOU to approach US for any of the services we offer at Sunberry Books. Any manuscript submitted to Sunpenny (i.e. here) in a traditional manner is dealt with on our traditional publishing side. It's read, and either accepted or rejected by us for traditional publishing. You will never receive a letter or email from us suggesting you pay us in any way for any service. If we are unable for any reason to take your book on at Sunpenny, you are welcome to try through Sunberry Books.
 

"Dance of Eagles", written by our editor, Jo Holloway, was first published by an American company, and then self-published in the UK when Sunpenny Publishing  first started in 2007. It was our "test" book before we took on traditionally published books by other authors.
